 Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Gastro to support and manage gastro-related operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry experience, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate day-to-day gastro department activities and operations.
Ensure smooth coordination between doctors, nursing staff, support teams, and other departments.
Monitor operational processes and ensure adherence to organizational policies and quality standards.
Handle patient/customer queries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain proper documentation, reports, records, and MIS related to department activities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
Monitor department performance and identify areas for process improvement.
Assist the senior management in planning and implementing operational initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
Support team members in achieving departmental targets and maintaining service quality.
Handle escalations effectively and ensure a high level of patient/customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular performance and operational reports for management review.
Required Skills
5+ years of relevant experience in gastro/healthcare/hospital operations or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good team coordination and people-management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities efficiently.
Good knowledge of MS Office and reporting/MIS.
Strong customer/patient handling and relationship-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
