Post – Snowflake Data Engineer & Lead
Location-India
Job type : Permanent

Responsibilities:
• Must have 5 to 8 Years of extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for a medium to large scale Data Warehouse.
• Experience in performing end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse, should have 2+ years of experience in medium to large Snowflake project implementations.
• Proficiency with SnowSQL and able to write complex SQLs and stored procedures.
• Ability to fine tune queries for performance improvement.
• Experience in utilizing various features such as time travel, data sharing, events, Snow Pipe, Streams etc.
• Experience on any cloud technology such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with any of the ETL tools such as Talend, DataStage etc.
• Must have experience with strong UNIX shell scripting.
• Must demonstrate best practices for SQL tuning and ETL development.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Python or Java is an added advantage.
Hand on experience on Data warehouse & ETL/ELT development with at least 1 Snowflake implementations
Hands on Snowflake experience with Snowflake utilities & features such as SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Cloning, Optimizer, data sharing, JavaScript, stored procedure and UDF
Excellent understanding of Snowflake internals and integration of Snowflake with data processing and reporting technologies.
Good understanding on roles, stages, RBAC, Views and database change management
Nice to have experience in Azure cloud, Azure deployment pipeline, Snowflake Pro Certification
Must have good knowledge on Architecting and implementing production grade data warehousing and data intelligence cloud solutions in SNOWFLAKE – Experience with tools which support Snowflake connectivity like DBeaver, VS code, Powerquery, etc would be great to have and must have strong hands-on knowledge in writing structured query language (SQL).
